Will my Sunless Tan stain my clothing, pajamas or sheets?

The bronzer in our products will rinse off your skin after your first post-tan shower.  You will then see your fabulous tan.  Until then, the cosmetic tan is water soluble and should not stain most fabrics.  Avoid wearing new bathing suits, white or silk.

How long does the session last?

A new client can expect their appointment to take 20-30 minutes.  If you are an existing client, It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to apply the airbrush spray tan.

Can I spray tan if I have tattoos?

Yes, you can spray tan if you have tattoos. The spray tan will not harm the tattoo. It is recommended to allow at least 2 weeks after your tattoo to allow your skin to heal before having a spray tan session.

Can I spray tan if I am pregnant and/or breastfeeding?

Yes, it is safe to have a spray tan session if you are currently pregnant and/or breastfeeding. As with anything else you do while you are pregnant, you should consult your physician should you have any questions or concerns.  A doctor's note is required if you are pregnant.

How long will the tan last?

For most people, the tan lasts 5-12 days. It depends on your skin type and how well you prep before your appointment and manage your tan after the application.   You will be given aftercare instructions during your tanning session.  With proper aftercare and good maintenance, you can maintain your beautiful tan indefinitely.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Loose dark clothing is best. No jeans, tight workout attire, leather, or white clothing. During the warmer months if you have leather seats in your car, you may want to consider putting a dark colored towel on the seat immediately following your appointment.  Be mindful that tight attire may rub the solution off before it has time to set.

What do I wear while I’m getting tanned?

You can go fully nude, wear underwear or a bathing suit. Please note that if you do decide to wear underwear or a bathing suit you will have tan lines. If you do not want tan lines then we suggest you go fully nude.  Our clients that are male are required to have some coverage.  For further information, please feel free to contact us.

Can I swim in the pool with my tan?

Yes, but try and stay away from chlorine, as it will make the tan fade quickly.

I’m getting married. When should I get the tan done?

We recommend brides come in for a trial tan before their wedding day to find the perfect custom tan. We suggest getting the tan done 2 to 3 days before the big day.

I am extremely pale. Is the tan going to look orange?

Absolutely not! Our solution is very natural and looks like a real sun kissed tan. We are also very light handed when we tan and our solution is created for all skin tones.

I’m using Retin-A or topical acne creams. Will that affect the tan?

Yes, please refrain from using anything with retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic, or any other exfoliating agents during the course of your spray tan.

I am peeling from a sunburn. Can I still get the tan done?

We do not recommend getting airbrush tanned if you are peeling. The tan will look completely uneven where your skin is peeling.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A REGULAR SPRAY TAN AND A RAPID TAN?

A regular spray tan will take 8-12 hours for your tan to develop.  After that time, your tan will not continue to develop and you can shower at anytime.  A rapid tan will take 2-4 hours to set.  Depending on your skin type, you will rinse off the solution during that time frame.  Your tan will continue to develop but you will be able to rinse the solution off and go about your day.  We charge $10 more for the Rapid Tan because the solution is more expensive to purchase.
